Our excluders come in zinc-plated iron, copper, stainless steel and plastic, and fit into all designs of circular / downpipe outlets and connectors and are compatible with all different manufactured materials.
They are designed with 12 rods at the bottom which have a slightly serrated edge, so that the leaf guard can be inserted into the hole and the edges will grip onto the inside of the drain connector or outlet, which has a series of small ridges around the inside rim of the shaft.
They are UV resistant, will withstand all normal chemicals and can be fitted onto TPE, EPDM or PVC outlets easily without the need for fixings or bonding. They can also be easily removed and re-used.
It is important to check the leaf excluders regularly and clean out the area around them.
GRAVEL EXCLUDERS
Our gravel excluders are available in plastic for use in circular drain connectors and roof outlets where the area is covered with a gravel or pebble layer (such as border edges or shingle ballast in an inverted roof system).
Made from polypropylene, they consist of a sturdy cage on the top with strong side bars and slats for the water to drain through.
We have two main designs: the Helix spoke (with three wide spokes) and the Spider fitting (with an angled four spoke design). Both these designs allow for installers to trim the spokes back easily using a sharp knife to fit the diameter of the outlet holes perfectly.
Regular maintenance and clearing of gravel excluders is recommended.
SQUARE SHAPED LEAF GUARDS
Wallbarn now offers a strong, flexible plastic leaf guard designed for use with our range of corner / parapet / through wall outlets.
Made from a durable and hardwearing plastic compound, they fit securely into the mouth of the hole without the need for fixings or adhesive.
For right-angle faced outlets, whether with a square shaped mouth or a circular spigot, our right-angled square leaf guard is ideal. The leaf guard has two prongs which will grip the inside of the spigot to ensure a good fit.
Although the square leaf guards are designed with straight sides, they can be used for both types of through-wall outlet – those with the right-angled face and those with the 45° angled face and mouth.
For those outlets with a fillet-type angle around the mouth, the side arms can be cut with a sharp blade to create the 45° angle, giving a correct fitting.
As our leaf guards are manufactured from plastic, they can easily be trimmed to alter the shape or reduce the size without affecting their performance.

Pedestals
What are the advantages of pedestals?
They are quick and easy to install, offer improved drainage, protect the surface underneath and can be lifted at any time for maintenance.
How do I install them?
The pedestals are placed on a flat, hard surface, with no mechanical fixings required. They need to be placed on a structured surface, and shouldn't be placed on non-compacted earth.
Do they need to be fastened?
No, the pedestals are part of a suspended system, with the weight of the slabs/decking holding everything in place.
Green Roof
What is a green roof / modular roof?
Sedum or other succulent plants are grown in low-level substrates. Modular systems are grown in sections and can be lifted into place and joined together.
Do they need maintenance?
The plants are very hardy, but watering in extreme conditions is recommended. Dead leaves and vegetation should be removed at regular intervals, and a slow-release fertiliser can be applied at certain periods throughout the year.

Wallbarn Parcels including pedestals and drainage outlets are packed into bags or boxes and delivered on a to-door service.
Wallbarn Pallets are delivered to kerbside only. Wallbarn cannot bring vehicles or pallet trucks onto gravel or earth surfaces, the customer will need to make arrangements to move the materials from the hard surface onto there property.
Wallbarn Double pallets including aluminium rails and decking materials are delivered on double length pallets and will be delivered to kerbside only.
Wallbarn Green Roof – M-Tray® and associated green roof products are delivered on pallets to kerbside only.

Damages & missing items
Do not install purchased items if you have a query with the product (e.g. if you need to query damage that occurred during transit).
If an item is installed it will not be refunded or replaced.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery charges will vary and will depend on the manufacturer, weight, size and delivery location. The cost is automatically calculated when you add items to the shopping basket.
How long will I wait for my delivery?
The estimated delivery times are shown on each product page, we will email you each step of the way to keep you informed. The majority of products can be delivered within 3-5 working days.We will advise you if the delivery period is different from than stated on our website.
Do you offer NEXT DAY delivery?
We currently offer next day delivery on certain brands. If you have a particular item that you require quicker than the guide on our website, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours, they will be able to confirm whether a quicker delivery is possible.
What if my delivery doesn't turn up on time?

Do you offer FREE Delivery if I spend a substantial amount?
Not as standard, we show the delivery charges separate once you go to the checkout so it is clear what you are paying for the products and delivery costs. If you are ordering larger quantities please contact out sales team who will be able to confirm if this is possible.
Do you deliver on Weekends?
Not as standard, our deliveries are made Monday to Friday. If you do need an urgent Saturday delivery please contact out sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours who will be able to confirm. This will incur a premium charge if possible.
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland/Guernsey/The Scottish Highlands/Isle of Wight?
Yes, we do but our transport charges incorporated in the site do not cover these areas, please contact our sales team on 01858 455055 during office hours for costs; or we will contact you to make the additional payment once you have completed your online purchase.

REFUND POLICY
Returns
Important Note: Please do not send goods back to Roof Giant before speaking to the Roof Giant sales office.
Roof Giant strongly recommend you take photographs of goods before returning. Occasionally goods are damaged during transit, therefore you may need to confirm the packaging/goods were intact (prior to collection) to the courier as part of the refund process.
As a consumer you have the right to change your mind (Consumer Regulations 2013). This right stipulates that for most products purchased online you have a legal right to change your mind within 14 days and receive a refund under the consumer contracts regulations 2013.
This right starts from the point you or someone you nominate receives the goods. If your goods are being delivered in multiple deliveries your right starts from the point the last delivery is received.
If you wish to exercise this right you must in the first instance contact us via phone 01858 455055 or email sales@roofgiant.com advising us of your wish to change your mind, its then your responsibility to arrange for the goods to be returned to us within 14 days of ending the contract.
